Walking on the beach, a girl noticed an old man who was picking up starfishes to send them back to the sea.

- Why do you throw these starfishes to the sea when so many washed up on shore? There are millions of starfishes on the beach, what difference does it make?

The old man took a starfish, sent it into the waves and replied:
