SPEED Trust conducts regular preventive actions in various fields. - Camps and medical check-ups in partnership with hospitals (dental, ophthalmology, gynecology, pediatrics) - Hygiene education: sandals distribution, dental kits, hygiene products. - Screening AIDS, Tuberculosis in partnership with NGOs as REACH.

SPEED Trust is a relay to medical institution and makes sure that the patients are properly being followed, i.e the ones suffering from Tuberculosis: they daily come to SPEED Trust to take their treatment. SPEED Trust also provides post surgery support.

The older students of evening classes regularly receive a training in First Aids. They become the “sentinels” of SPEED Trust in the slum.

To be sure that the poorest get good quality health treatment, SPEED Trust implemented since 2007 a fund financed by the beneficiaries that allows them to receive quality care in partner hospitals. This fund, which involves hundreds of members, covers hospitalizations and surgeries costs.

SPEED Trust is a place where the poorest families can get information and addresses of relevant organizations. Thus, Arun, 10 years old, suffering from a muscular dystrophia could integrate Mayopathy Centre for Muscular Distrophy as part of a partership with the Jeevan Foundation. Thanks to it Pooja, (6 years) and Samuel (7 years) have benefited from major heart surgery.
